    I dont know If I said it already but …I’m so glad I found this site…Keep up the good work I read a lot of blogs on a daily basis and for the most part, people lack substance but, I just wanted to make a quick comment to say GREAT blog. Thanks, :)

    Thanks for the comments. With due respect to people (I refuse using the term ‘race’ to prevent from stereotyping) from other parts of the globe, say, the so-called ‘West’, Edward Said seems to imply a philosophical overtone wherein the concept of ‘development’ is based on the ‘Western’ concept of ‘development’. The study on Orientalism is trying to reveal the ‘identity’ of culture and the price that should be payed in preserving it.
