 Well, well, well… I finally got a new video after a century. lols. This is a tribute to all laborers around the world, who in their own simple ways have their own idea of paradise in their minds, despite difficulties at work. It’s a concept of paradise that is not only visual, but that peaceful place within us, where all of our senses could conceive. Somewhere beyond our dream for wealth and fame. Well, well, well… finally I’ve got a new upload. I thought of a short clip to express a contemporary artist’s outlook and experience while creating an artwork and finding the right market for it. Warning: this film is quite vague and would invite different interpretations. I chose Din Din Wo (Little Child)- Habib Koite & Bamada for the soundtrack simply because I hear innumerable emotions and honesty in it. Enjoy!

A music gallery of some of my own personal favourite paintings with “Longer” as background.  The reason I choose the song is due to the fact that Visual Arts is my first love.   I dream of being an animator (imagine the once ambitious me swearing to apply in Walt Disney Co.  Lols.  ) since I was a kid and although I ended up being a writer, I’m still holding on to this dream.  Lols.  Indeed it’s true that no matter which path you tread in your life, whatever you wanted to do will remain if it’s really your passion.  It just keeps on knocking and summoning you ’til the end.  This is the only treasure I’ve got, and I will never trade it for something else.  Featured works:  “The Abandoned” (oil on canvas);  “A Country House” (transparent watercolor);  “Bloom”  (transparent watercolor); and,  “The Old Man” (oil on canvas). 

 

 

GITARIZTA (Original-MTV)

 

 

 

GITARIZTA is written as a gift to my Gitarizta Family.  It sheds light on the personal thoughts and emotions of a performer in a chatroom and the stream of consciousness reeling upon an artist’s mind as a member of the Gitarizta Clan in Yahoo Chatroom OFW Zone 94.  The song is a simple manifestation of an act of performing before an audience in OFW Zone 94 and the reflections of such a performer while serving his/her fellowmen, whether in the Philippines or abroad, through the grace of music and a musical instrument like the guitar.

DON’T TOUCH MY HAIR is one of my unfinished songs that I decided to produce. Obviously, I played the lead actress. lols.  The song demonstrates a sort of psychological tendency wherewith most women undertake when heartbroken.  It illustrates defence mechanism, a device to overcome pain, depression, frustration and remorse, in this case, by getting a haircut.  And the acting stint?  Well … I just missed acting on stage when I was in college. Hihi.

 

 

DUNGAWIN (Original) 

 

 

DUNGAWIN is an inspirational song I composed in Tagalog.  I started writing the song after waking up from a nightmare.  Reality-wise, I reflected on the thought that every individual has his/her own special nightmares in their waking hours at least once or a few moments in their lifetime.   So this song serves to motivate the hopeless and the downtrodden and empower their identity and significance in propagating their principles. (woah! deep!)

A song by ASIN.  It’s one of them most beautiful love songs for one’s country.  Filipinos are, by nature, patriotic.

I and Love and You is a song I made five years ago.  It’s one of my favorite compositions, a story about a dilemma that transpires in romantic relationships (wow deep! lol).  Anyways, I hope you like it and the video I made. – Muse
